Woods Homes Youth Support Navigators work with youth 12-24 to navigate the social serving system in Lethbridge and connect them to appropriate resources. In this navigation, we work to overcome barriers that youth may be facing in accessing resources. We also work collaboratively with Youth Serving agencies to ensure that the right youth are being referred to the right service at the right time.
In addition to the direct work we do with youth, part of our role is to gather information regarding trends we are seeing in our community with the youth we serve. We are looking to gather information from Youth Serving Agencies across Lethbridge to better understand the barriers and gaps that youth face. With the gathered information, a report will be developed and disseminated throughout the ICA network and with youth serving agencies in Lethbridge. The survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.
